The announcement came amid an important consultative meeting held at the residence of former AJK Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas in Islamabad to discuss the prevailing political situation in Azad Jammu Kashmir and preparations for the upcoming elections. The meeting was attended by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider, former AJK President Sardar Yaqoob Khan, senior PPP leader Chaudhry Riaz, and several other prominent political figures from Azad Kashmir.
