Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Türkiye on Thursday following the completion of his visit to Qatar, as he begins a new leg of his regional engagements.

The prime minister landed in Antalya, where he was received by Governor Hulusi Şahin. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Türkiye, Yousaf Junaid, along with senior diplomatic officials, was also present at the airport.

During his visit, Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to attend the fifth Antalya Diplomacy Forum, where he will take part in a leaders’ panel and outline Pakistan’s perspective on key regional and global issues.

Meetings with Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and other international leaders are also expected on the sidelines of the forum.

The prime minister is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Information Minister Atta Tarar, and senior aide Tariq Fatemi.
